The Coaching and Gentle duplicate sessions restart next week, the 1^st and 2^nd September.

Coaching is at Hamworthy Club on Monday’s at 9:30am and 1:30pm. The sessions now run every week until Christmas. We have also made bookings into 2026.

Gentle Duplicate is on RealBridge on Tuesday’s at 2pm, followed by a review of the hands on Zoom at 5pm.

This year we aim to get a wider range of club members participating in the monthly Teams sessions.

In order to avoid too many mis-matches - very strong teams playing long matches against significantly weaker teams, we would like to experiment by forming teams of mixed levels – stronger pairs forming teams with less experienced pairs.
In doing this we are trying to build on the success of the Anniversary Swiss teams held in June that seemed to be enjoyed by all.

As such we are asking players to enter as pairs or individuals looking to form teams, or as teams of 4 players preferably of overall medium strength.
We will aim to make up teams of broadly similar overall strength.

The exact format will be finalised when we have a better idea of numbers.
Matches will be played face-to-face on Monday evenings on the 3^rd Monday of each month from September through to June.
Players do not need to be available for all sessions as substitutes will be allowed.
