We have our annual John Isaacs and Ann Dolan event coming up on Sunday 18th May.  As usual, we plan to hold our AGM during the lunch break.We do hope you will come and compete, plus contribute to our discussions.  The event will be in Bancyfelin Village Hall which has proved to be a popular venue with good parking, even for those coming from the more eastern parts of our area.We are again intending to hold the Ann Dolan which is for those below the level of County Master, but to get enough numbers you need to persuade your friends to come - they are often a bit shy about it!  Please try.

Congratulations to Paul & Sophie Cunningham, Fu Cheung & Viking Yuen runaway winners of today's WWBA Teams of Four competition at Bancyfelin.  At the lunch break they were well clear of their nearest rivals (Peter Milewski, Mike Baker, Nicky Hancock & Martin Sheppard)  who made a valiant effort in the second session, but the gap was too big.  In 3rd position came Mike Best, David Birt, Tony Disley & Simon Richards.  Seven teams enjoyed a great day's bridge, organised and ably directed by our ATO Dave Nicklin. Thank you Dave!
