Bulletin |
The club welcomes bridge players---hope to see you at the table!
Allowed Bids
99.9%+ of bids used at the club are unremarkable and allowable, so there are normally no issues. However, questions have been raised about a couple of unusual bids recently. If you wish to question the use of a bid, please call the director and the committee may rule on it. We generally follow the ACBL Open Chart for guidance. Note that, if you are accustomed to playing in regions other than ACBL, your experience may be different, because different regions have different regulations.

Party to honour Carolyn and Mike |
The club had a brunch on Friday 16 May 2025 to honour Carolyn Kaufer and Mike Williams. It was organised by Maudrene, Jim and Jan. Both Carolyn and Mike are very long time members of the club, dating back 16 years from the year when the club was founded, and Mike was a founder member. Unfortunately, age means they can no longer play.
The party was particularly to mark Carolyn's 95th birthday this month---it was a pleasure to see her still so sprighty.
Thank you to Jan and Lek for the photos. More to come

Where We Play |
 |
Oak Tree Restaurant is located on Canal Road, just north of the Phucome Intersection (Canal Road and Huay Kaew Road)
Plug these GPS coordinates into your favorite mapping program:
18°48'24.3"N 98°57'40.1"E
Going East or West on Huay Kaew Road: At the Phucome light, turn north onto Canal Road, passing the Ibis Hotel on your left and then turn left into first small soi and then right into the small car park for Oak Tree. Oak Tree Restaurant is on the corner of that small soi and Canal Road. See Map.
From Mae Rim, going south: Pass through the penultimate traffic light before the Phucome Intersection and turn right onto the cross-over bridge and over into the small soi then right into the small car park for Oak Tree. See Map.
The BCCM is playing in the large air-conditioned room which is behind the main building.
The main restaurant opens at 5 pm and serves excellent Thai food. There will be staff available in the afternoon to serve drinks.
