Having qualified from the regional finals of the National pairs as one of the top 40 pairs, Cliff Vince & Peter Burns played 92 boards over the weekend (12th & 13th April) , and finished 20th out of 47, scoring just over 51%. Congratulations on an excellent result!

We have arranged another online BBO match, this time against Worthing Bridge Club on Tuesday 6th May at 19:30. The match is free of charge.
You and your partner will be playing with another CBC pair to make a team of four. We aim to have at least four teams of four playing on behalf of CBC

Narrow win for Tyler Hill
There was a tight result in the teams of four match against Tyler Hill Bridge Club, Kent. Six teams of four played for each side on BBO. It finished so, so close! CBC won 3 of the matches and Tyler Hill won 3. Overall, TH just squeaked the win. We will be looking for a rematch next year and in the meantime hoping to arrange matches with other clubs.

| Face-to-face and Online Sessions |
We run regular club tournaments.
- On-line Monday evenings, 7.00pm start, please register by 6:50pm. select 'Competitive' then 'All Tournaments' and search for 'CBC' when you log on to BBO.
- Face-to-face Tuesday afternoons, 3.30pm start. Please don't arrive in the school car park before 3:15.
- Face-to-face Thursday evenings, 7.00pm start.
- Alternate Friday afternoons, Face-to-face Gentle Bridge or Supervised Play, 3:30pm start. Please don't arrive in the school car park before 3:15. Check the Calendar for details.
For tournaments from Monday through to Thursday we plan to play 21 to 27 boards but the actual number will depend on turnout and the movement. Occasionally it may be necessary to play more or less than this range; the Director will advise on the exact number and format before the Tournament commences.
