Club Director Course
Do you have at least 5 masterpoints? If yes...would you like to make some "pocket money (extra cash?)
I would like to work with several of you to become a Director at our club. There is a Club Director course scheduled for September 22-25 online.
The space is limited for this course. It involves meeting for only 2 1/2 hours for four sessions. I will commit to being available to help you with
this course. The cost of the course is $75 which I will reimburse you when you participate in the 4 sessions and finish the requirements to become a director.
No worry. I will not ask you to direct until you feel like you are comfortable, ok?

- When: Wednesday, August 6 at 10:00 a.m.
- Where: Lexington Country Club, Barr Road -- Take exit 51 off I-20 onto Longs Pond Rd. Go .8 mile to Barr Road.
- We take a break at noon and have Lunch: Cost is $13.00 (Please bring cash for lunch)

Intermediate Bridge Class: The Key Rules of Bridge
Some players believe that if you knew 10-12 of the most important Rules of Bridge that you could become a superior player. Many of you already know the Rule of 11 when leading in notrump. Did you know that there are approximately 20 plus more rules like this? How fun to learn bridge this way with a partner.
When: Wednesdays, September 10, 17, 24, October 8, & October 15 (no class on October 1)
Time: 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Cost: $59.00

- Monday: 10:00 a.m. GRAND SLAM Monday. Bid and make a slam and win a free regular game. On Mondays (immediately after the game) Mary will take 10-15 minutes and answer questions and review bidding on some of the more challenging boards that were played during the game.

In August--On BBO, there are ACBL Community Clubhouse Games online and Face-to-Face games for both Silver and Red masterpoints
There are games this month in the ACBL Community Clubhouse for both Silver and Red masterpoints. Here are the details:
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday--August 14, 15, &16 Games are 50% RED/50% BLACK both online and at the Club
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday-online in the ACBL Community Clubhouse section. Games are 25% SILVER.
In the ACBL Clubhouse online every day throughout the day and night--when you are not playing at our club, please consider playing in these games in the ACBL Clubhouse as our club gets $1.25 per entry. All level of games are available throughout the day. Players with 0-20 mp play for free with a ROBOT (12 boards).
Class: Beginning Two Over One Bridge: Modern Bridge (Change in beginning date of this course--see below)
Thursdays, August 21 is the first class. The remaining classes are August 28, September 11, 18, 25, and October 2. (No class on Thursday, September 4)
Cost: $69 (If Repeating the class, the cost is $40)
