This year the AGM will be held on Thursday, May 8th at the Kings Sutton Memorial Hall at 8:30 pm
(during the break in the pairs session)
Club members not playing in the session are welcome to come for the AGM (and the free tea/coffee/biscuits)

Wednesday Morning Seminar |
The current topic in the series of Wednesday morning seminars is on Playing Your Contract.
Its last session originally planned for April 23rd has had to be postponed. A new date will be arranged in due course

Seminar - 'Develop your Defence: Every card counts' |
Julian Masters has kindly offered to run the next Wednesday morning seminar (May 7th and again on May 14th).
It will follow the same general approach as previously (talk, then practice hands) and will cover Defence, including:
Before you start, Opening leads, 3rd Hand Play, 2nd Hand Play, and Signalling
There is still 1 place available on May 14th

Annual Subscriptions |
Please note that your subscriptions for 2025-26 (£10) are due from the beginning of April
Please make payment along with your table money next time you play

Wednesday Mornings |
In 2025, there will be Supervised Bridge every Wednesday (unless notified otherwise),
with Duplicate as well every two or three weeks.
The next Duplicate is scheduled for April 30th, when the session may go on until around 12:30
Support is available during play to people in both sessions
For Duplicate, please be seated by 9:50 as 10 minutes are needed to set up the movement
People arriving after this time may not be allowed to play in the Duplicate session
(unless they have phoned and spoken to someone to say they will be late)

FastTrack 2025 |
 The content of this course is similar to the successful one last year
It will take place on Tuesday evenings over two terms, from 7 to 9pm.
Term 1: May 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th, June 3rd and 10th
Term 2: July 22nd and 29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th
Between the two terms participants have the opportunity to attend additional practice sessions on Tuesday evenings - these will be on June 17th and 24th, July 1st, 9th and 15th
Posters have been put up in local meeting places and adverts in newsletters

Unfortunately the remaining results in Division 2 did not help Kings Sutton A, who will be relegated to Division 3 for next season

with help available if you need it
Every Wednesday morning in the Memorial Hall 9.30 tea and coffee, 10.00 start bridge
Every three weeks or so we also run a Duplicate session - see Calendar for dates
From time to time we also run seminars on bridge topics with some advice and practice hands to add to your skills
Please arrive by 9:45 to give the organisers time to finalise the number of tables
and to lay out the equipment.
