Yet again Kooyong won the Sandbelt event att Yarra Yarra
Team of Karen Snow, Pauline Bloom, Irene Hinsley and Angela MacPherson was placed first and team of Kerry-Anne Hoad, Catherine Ng, Christine Walker and Gill Minson was placed third.

Kooyong pairs in the top 50 were Jude Partington and Chris Woods 17th, Doug Bell and John Finkelstein 27th and Catherine Ng and Geoff Schroeder 31st out of 1200 pairs nationwide.
