The Club's annual Memorial Day Potluck Lunch and Duplicate Bridge Event was a big success this year. We had 30 tables in play, with 4 sections! We especially were happy to see our newest members come for this fun event.
A big thank you goes to all those who brought side dishes for the lunch, and to Carole Nutter, Hospitality Chair, for her coordination. Carole wishes to remind readers of the help she received from the committee and others. At the risk of leaving someone out, she named co-chair Barbara Sallen and these club members Wanda White, Margaret Norton, Lana Foot, Richard Hixson, Marci Hixson, Mary Anne Wildman, Gary Evans, Pam Mueller, and John Mueller. Plus all the players who stuck around and made sure the kitchen and playing area were clean and ready for the Tuesday game.
Your game director extends thanks to the players who kept the game running smoothly and for those who helped in setup and game finish. At the risk of leaving someone out, he named Kathy Gates, Becky Bien, Alex Zacny, and Tyler Nicholson. There are surely others, so please forgive any inadvertent omission.
