I have decided to offer "Credit" for Intermediate missed lessons. Please send me particular dates missed, and you may take a "makeup class" or apply the credit to any other Series of lessons. My goal is to encourage you so that you continue on your learning path.
For those new to Bridge, I recommend that you download to your phone an App called "Tricky Bridge". Modules 1 to 13 take you methodically through the absolute basics of Bridge and important Bridge terminology, to prepare you to understand the lessons more easily.
LESSON FORMAT
All lessons start in Zoom [click here], then we use Shark Bridge for lots of interactive hands-on practice. You can undo or replay the hand, and learn when Shelley demonstrates at your table.

Module 2: Bidding Basics & Beyond - 7 lessons $150 Cdn/$110 US (Repeats only pay 50%)
Thursdays 4:00-5:30, Feb 27 to May 1 (except Mar 13, 20, Apr 17)
This course covers Opener's and Responder's bids and rebids, Major Suit bidding with 5-3, 4-4 and 6-2 fits, and No Trump bidding including Stayman and Transfers. You will have a solid foundation in Bridge basics, and will have learned the tools to play a basic game of Bridge.
Module 4: Intermediate Bidding & Conventions - 8 lessons $180 Cdn/$130 US (Lesson Credit program*)
Tuesdays 4:00-5:30, Feb 25 to Apr 29 (except Mar 18, Apr 15)
This course is geared towards the Intermediate player. We will focus on Slam bidding, various conventions to find Major Suit games (Game Tries and New Minor Forcing), and other commonly used and useful conventions.
* Note that these 8 lesson are not interdependant, and therefore you will still benefit from taking any of the lessons (drop-in $30, $110 for 4 lessons, or take a makeup lesson).
Future Lessons - Fall, 2025
Mod 3: Competitive Bidding & Defense
Learn tools to compete in the Bidding, and make things difficult for the Opponents! This course includes Weak 2s, Overcalling, Takeout Doubles, and Negative Doubles. The latter half of the course focuses on what to be thinking about as a Defender (Opening Leads, Signalling, 2nd Hand Play, 3rd Hand Play).
