Welcome to Stowmarket Bridge Club
No Play on Good Friday

Sorry, but there will be no play at Stowmarket on Good Friday - too many of us are otherwise occupied that day.

Back as usual on April 25.

Children in Need Sims

We played the ECats Children in Need Simultaneous Pairs in November and Andy & Sekhar topped the rankings!

Click RANKING to see the ranking list for Friday November 15 and read the commentary (link on right of RANKING screen) to see how the hands should have been played.

The same hands are played all over the Country so you can compare your results with hundreds of others.

Dates for your Diary

Wednesday May 7 - Wednesday evening sessions were offered by the Club for around 50 years, before they were paused when the Pandemic struck. The Committee has now decided to restart these sessions in May. Further details are available on this website, and will be advised at regular Club sessions.

Friday August 15 - This year's Prize-giving Day will incorporate the second running of the one-day Charitable Handicap event for the Sue Aldous Memorial Shield. Further details will shortly be available on the website, and also at regular Club sessions, but meanwhile, please 'ring fence' the date in your diary.

Suffolk Championship Pairs

Our heat of the Suffolk Championship Pairs took place on January 17.

This is the event where, if you score 50+% in the heat, you qualify to play in the Suffolk Championship Pairs Final to be played at Elmswell on Sunday April 27.

Our qualifiers were John/Caro, Tony/George, Paul/Amanda & John/Simon. Well done to them and good luck if they choose to play in the Final.
