ALL COMPETITIONS
Pairs must have identical  systems cards available - in the EBU 20B Systems Card format.
Pairs without cards are expected to play basic Acol.

Welcome

Stratford-upon-Avon Bridge Club extends a warm welcome to members, students, and visitors. We are a thriving friendly club located in Old Town.  

With around 400 members, we run a variety of bridge sessions 6 days a week suitable for both novice and experienced players.  We welcome new members and visitors.

We have an extensive teaching programme running from September to May each year and also have regular master classes.
August Bridge

Friday 1 August 10am - 1pm - Friday morning duplicate

It is clear that this new morning session is popular with members. This will now be a permanent feature in our bridge schedule. They are open to all. All August sessions will be hosted; meaning you can turn up without a partner and be guaranteed a game.

Tuesday 5 August 7.00pm - 9.30pm - Mentored pairs

This monthly event is proving to be popular. We will continue to run it every month on the first Tuesday evening. The event will attract master points but there will be no impact on NGS. It is free for mentors and is £4.80 for students; payable on the day. Please sign up at the club or email me.

Thursday 14 August at 1.30pm - Club competition - One-off teams

You can turn up as a pair and be teamed up on the day or come as a team of four. To be eligible to be called the winner no more than two team members can have NGS 10 or higher on 31 August 2024. You can still participate if you don’t meet this criteria.

Hosted by Cheltenham Bridge Club at the Centenary Hall, Dean Close School, a great venue with modern conference facilities, ample free parking and easy access.
