Long-term member Rowland Agius sadly passed away recently. He was popular at our club, playing with several partners, and will be sadly missed. Our condolences go out to his friends and family.

His funeral will be at 11.00 a.m. on Thursday 9th March at Peel Green Crematorium, followed by a wake at Monton Sports Club.

Ken took office in 2018 and stepped down last year due to health issues.  Ken was a popular member who worked hard for the Club and supported all its events.  He chaired the Club meetings wisely and with diligence, and we will all miss him.

We’re sad to announce that another Member has passed away recently.

Bhim Ruia was aged 88, had leukaemia and will be much missed.

He partnered several of our members, and also played at Manchester Bridge Club, where he was one of the top players.

Sadly, his funeral had already taken place when we heard.  Sincere condolences go to all his family and friends.

It is with much regret that we have to report the sad passing of Member Hazel Holland.

Much-loved and a long-term supporter of the Club, she will be sadly missed by many, who found her a pleasure to play against.

The funeral arrangements are: Friday 13th September 2024 at Agecroft Crematorium at 3 o'clock,

Followed by refreshments at Worsley Golf Club.

We're sad to report that Pat Hackett has recently died.  Pat played with Pauline Sargent both at the club and online.   

The funeral is on Friday 3rd November at 10:30 with cremation at Altrincham.

We're also sad to announce that Madge Statham passed away early in the morning of the 4th November.  She was a member of many bridge clubs, including ours, and had played for many years (being an accomplished player). She was 99, and will be sadly missed. 

We're sad to announce that Shalleen Ferris has recently passed away. Shalleen was a regular player at the Club until just before lockdown but stepped down when her health began to suffer.  We send our condolences and love to Lisa and the family.
