| Laura Osler |
We are sad to receive news that Laura Osler died last week. She had been unable to recover from operations on her hip following a fall. She spent her last few days at The Hospice in the Weald.
Laura was a member of TWBC back in the 1980s, before mainly playing at Crowborough Bridge Club. She rejoined TWBC a few years ago, so she could play here with her son Nick. Laura is known to a good number of our members and will be sadly missed.
The funeral is set to take place on Monday 16 June at 2pm at the Crematorium Chapel at the Kent & Sussex Crematorium in Tunbridge Wells. It would be helpful if any of our members who would like to attend could let Nick know. He can be contacted on 07887 822581 or on email.

As you maybe aware we had the honour of hosting the EBU Premier league Division 1 at our club on 28th/29th September.
One of the players participating was Tom Townsend who is Bridge Correspondent of the Telegraph newspaper . In the attached article today he has written some lovely comments about our club and provided a very interesting hand from the Premier league.
