When we talk about “The Club”, “you” or “Administrators” in this policy, we are referring to the Club Administrators, Scorers and others associated with updating the club data.

When we talk about “Members” or “Users” in this policy, we are referring to any user of  Bridgewebs or Bridgewebs Web sites using or updating any data through Bridgewebs.

Bridgewebs is a software provider for Bridge clubs to allow them to manage their club membership. This privacy notice covers the personal data collected by Bridgewebs to administer the system and does not refer to any personal data collected by individual clubs. Each club should have their own privacy notice.

Bridgewebs collect contact data, name, email addresses, telephone numbers for Club Site Administrators including anyone who sets up a trial site.

If you contact us by letter or email, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

Bridgewebs uses the data to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us. The Club Administrators details will be used to communicate regarding technical issues that may arise at the site or for financial administration.

Members email addresses may be shared with our email provider.

The data is entered by the Club Administrators, either at the time of setting up the Site or later through the Web Admin pages.

Bridgewebs reserves the right to remove any pages which it considers Offensive, Defamatory or Malicious. Further, Bridgewebs reserves the right to Suspend any web site continuing to display repeated entries of Offensive or Malicious information.

Our data is stored in digital form in a secure environment provided by Heart Internet in compliance with EU Regulations.

Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) we do not have a statutory requirement to have a Data Protection Officer. The person who is responsible for ensuring the Bridgewebs discharges its obligations under the GDPR is  Gwynne Hughes, team@bridgewebs.net .

 Bridgewebs staff have access to data for the investigation and resolution of queries and issues reported by Clubs and for financial administration.

To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between Bridgewebs  and individual clubs.

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email us at team@bridgewebs.net. We may make a small charge for this service.

Bridgewebs does not collect any sensitive personal data.
