Congratulations to Monojit Chatterji & Alan Cox who came 9th (out of 104 pairs) in the Thea Teale, SBU National Bronze Tournament.

 

Save-the-Date: Saturday 28th March. Andrew Robson at the Carlton for a charity event. Booking details available December.

Thank you to all members who attended the 28th Oct. EGM and those who sent in their votes and proxies. The result was as follows:

  • Vote of confidence in the Board  86
  • Vote of no-confidence in the Board  40
  • Abstain 1

Following this result, the floor was asked for nominations for additional Directors to join the Board. Three members were proposed and seconded: Marilyn McDonagh, Elizabeth Peckham and Robert Rae.

The Board now consists of Sandra Mair, Monojit Chatterji, Alison Morrison, Pippy Tyler, Fiona Donaldson, Marilyn McDonagh, Elizabeth Peckham and Robert Rae.

This new Board are committed to working as a team to get the club back on track and ensure the club is managed effectively and that the Carlton continues to be the friendly club.
