The 2026 Devon County Congress will take place at the Grand Hotel, Torquay on the weekend of Friday 17th to Sunday 19th April. Entries now open!

Entry forms are now available for:
Saturday 3-4 January, 2026 on Realbridge: Championship Pairs on Saturday followed by blue-pointed Swiss Teams on Sunday.
The Sunday Teams competition will also be Devon's qualifying event for the EBU Pachabo Cup.
Sunday 15 February, 2026 on Realbridge: A one-day two session teams-of-eight event for EBU-affiliated Devon clubs. The winning team will be eligible to represent Devon in the EBU Garden Cities Trophy.
Saturday 21 March, 2026 on Realbridge: A one-day, two-session green-pointed pairs competition. The top three pairs in this event will be invited to represent Devon in the EBU Corwen Trophy.

Sunday October, 5 2025: Plymouth Bridge Club are running a friendly Nine High event starting at 1pm. All players with an NGS of Nine or below are invited. The cost is £3 for an afternoon of Bridge to include tea and cake. The event will take place at Plymouth Bridge Club, 1 Moor View Terrace, Mutley, PL4 7EB. Saturday & Sunday October 11 & 12, 2025: has a new venue this year, the Webbington Hotel and Spa, Axbridge, BS26 2HU. The weekend features Green-pointed Swiss Pairs & Swiss Teams and a new Nine-High Pairs competition. See HERE for more details and entry.
Saturday & Sunday October 25 & 26, 2025: The Malvern Congress, run by the Worcestershire Contract Bridge Association, features a green-pointed Swiss Pairs on the Saturday and green-pointed Swiss Teams on the Sunday. See HERE for more details and to enter.
Sunday, November 23, 2025: The next event at Filleigh Village Hall is the Swiss Teams for the North Devon Charity Cup in aid of the North Devon Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Care. Players enter as a pair and are matched to make a team. For more info and to sign up, click HERE.
Saturday & Sunday, February 14 & 15, 2026:The East Wales Bridge Association are organising a weekend of Bridge in Newport with green-pointed Swiss Pairs on the Saturday and green-pointed Swiss Teams on the Sunday. More information on their website HERE.

Charity Swiss Teams for the Dartington Trophy |
This popular Swiss Teams event took place at the Filleigh Village Hall on Sunday March 23, 2025 with 17 teams in the competition.

Congratulations to the winners Dave Strawbridge & Mike Walsh with Betty Golding & Margaret Mardlin (pictured), the runners up Richard Lingham & Viv Mabley with Graham Hoare & Ann Slee and to the winners of the risers prize Peter Taylor & Caroline Palmer with Serena Kirkman and Lela Daniel.

North Devon Congress 2025 |
The 30th North Devon Congress took place at the Barnstaple Hotel on Friday 28th February through Sunday 2nd March 2025.

There were 46 pairs for the ten-match Swiss Pairs competition on the Friday and Saturday and 25 teams for the seven-match Swiss Teams competition on the Sunday. Congratulations to the winners of the pairs, Debbie & Simon Richards, and to the winners of the Teams, Sally & Terry Stuttard with Chris Thomas & John Dick (pictured above).
