Another enjoyable weekend was spent at the Millstream Hotel, Bosham, kindly organised by Paul Smith. Paul and Bernadette MacKenzie Ross were the overall winners.

| Sad news |
We are very sad to hear of the passing of Paul Sherwood on Friday, 26th July, at the age of 88. Paul was a regular attendee at the Gerrards Cross Bridge Club and, when partnered by his wife, Wendy, he was a formidable opponent.

| Bill Garnsey Cup |
In memory of Bill, a new cup, the Bill Garnsey Cup, has been donated to the club by Joy Garnsey. In line with Bill's wishes, the cup will be awarded annually to a club member based on two criteria, namely skill at playing bridge and committment to the club by regular attendance. Further details can be found by clicking here and the first award will be based on 2023 results. Other cups to be awarded next year will be the 2023 Monday Ladder Cup and the 2023 Wednesday Ladder Cup.

| GX MEMORIAL CENTRE FIRE REGULATIONS |
| Instructions have been given to all users of the Memorial Centre on what to do in case of a fire. These are posted on the club's notice board. Please take time to read them, and remember that everyone must go immediately to the fire assembly point in the main car park on the discovery of a fire. |
