Bridge Lessons for Winter 2026 

1. Lisa Mita is winding up the teaching of several lesson series that began in mid–January:

• Bridge Basics 2 began Wednesday, March 11 from 9:15 to 11:15 AM and runs through April 15.  Suitable for graduates of Bridge Basics 1 or another beginning bridge course, or for anyone that would like a refresher.  Topics: Preemptive Bidding, Overcalls and Advances, Takeout Doubles and Advances, The Competitive Auction.  When both sides compete, the meanings of many bids change! The course fee is $150.  The textbook by Audrey Grant will be available for $20 at the first lesson. Advance registration is strongly recommended.
