REQUEST FOR WORKING PARTY MEMBERS
As the club nears the end of its lease with the Diocese we are looking for a small number of people to join a working party to look at the future development of the Club.

PRESTON BRIDGE CLUB – 2025 AGM
MONDAY 5TH MAY (BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY)
As last year, on the Bank Holiday Monday we have a triple event:
Tea/Coffee from 10.30
- at 11:00 am PBC 2025 AGM;
- at 12:00 pm Lunch (£5 charge);
- at 1:00 pm a session of duplicate bridge (£4 table money, £5 for visitors), with break for dessert/coffee/cake.
We hope this will be a great opportunity to see members who you may have not seen for some considerable time. Please attend if you can, the Trustees and Committee are working very hard to keep the club going and numbers at sessions are picking up.
Lunch
Will consist of a choice of sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls, scones with cream/butter and jam, jubilee trifle and cake. Plus, free tea, coffee and soft drinks.
Bridge
We will aim to play 20-24 boards, finishing about 4pm. There will be a small cash prize for the winning pair and the leading pair with both players NGS 10 and below.
You can attend one, two or all the segments, but to be able to plan properly, we need to know who is attending which segment. We will hope to pair up any members who come without a partner, but if you are coming as a pair then both players need to register separately. NB Pre-registration is essential.

Membership Feedback Suggestions
The club is introducing an online feedback/suggestion system to enable members to make suggestions on how the club could be improved. All suggestions will go to the club secretary and they will normally be considered at the next Club Committee meeting, after which, one of the committee will get back to you.
