Regis in Bournemouth 10 to 13 April 2026 |
Over the last number of years, the Regis Bridge Club have hosted a Bridge weekend in Bournemouth usually in April. Our next event will take place at the Marsham Court Hotel on the above dates. Our weekend consists of 5 sessions of duplicate Bridge over the weekend.
The basic cost for 5 sessions of duplicate Bridge, 3 nights Bed, Breakfast and evening meal in an inland room is £295 per person. The hotel has been extensively refurbished over the past three years and has always provided us with a good and consistent level of service. Click on this link to take you to the hotel website: https://marshamcourthotel.co.uk/.
Our 2025 event was well attended and popular with the guests. 5 sessions of face to face Bridge in comfortable surroundings make for a pleasant break. If you have not attended previously give us a try. Bookings can be made by contacting me by email: collared.coh@gmail.com for further details.

Champion Trophy 2025 |
This year we are going to trial a new format for the champion Pairs award. Instead of a one off event we will hold three events. The trophy will be awarded to the pair achieving the aggregate best score of their top two events. The sessions are roughly three months apart and the dates for these events have now been fixed in the club calendar. The first event will take place on 29 April. The second and third events will occur on 19 August and 2 December respectively. If the format is successful, then the 2026 event will add a further date so it becomes a once a quarter event.

Notifying members when there is adverse weather |
There is currently no Club policy on how to notify members if adverse weather causes us to cancel an event night. The committee will address this matter at their next meeting. In the interim however, we will make an announcement on this website for those who have internet access. Those without access should contact either Roy or Melek Drage or Colin O'Hara for confirmation.
