Spring Afternoon Tea (2025) |
Spring Afternoon Tea
Wednesday, 19th March
We had a great turnout and an enjoyable Spring Afternoon Tea, playing Chicago Bridge in the Club.

Joe Murray & Anne Jones were the winners of the highest score
Joe and Anne received vouchers to spend at Morley's Nursery.
We raised a healthy net total from the Tea and Raffle of £200 for the local Lancaster School for children with learning difficulties - for more information see HERE
Thanks to everyone, especially Sally, Wendy and the team for making it such a pleasant afternoon.

System Card - EBU Law 40 |
If you play anything more complicated than the basic Acol system, both players should have an identically completed convention card giving details of the system that they play, along with the meaning of all artificial calls, and their system of leads, signals, and discards. These should be left on the table throughout the bidding and play, so that your opponents can consult them.
