Congratulations to Mike Kinsey, Lillias Lamont, Owen Leigh and James Clark (Team Kinsey)  - winners of the final event of the 2024-2025 HIWCBA season – the Philip Graham Teams at Lymington bridge club; an event with an early start to maximise entries from the Isle Of Wight.  11 teams were just enough for a swiss style event providing the 6th round was a revenge round.  After 5 rounds, Team Foster (Graham Foster & Yvonne Moores, Lesley Lewis & FranAlexander) had a slender lead over team Kinsey, whom they had beaten in an early round.  Defending champions, Team Preston (Steve Preston & Fred Hotchen, Richard & Christine Ray) were third.  In the 6th round Team Kinsey got their revenge over Team Foster (a 15-5 win) to win the trophy.  Team Preston failed to win big so stayed 3rd with Team Foster 2nd.   An IOW Team - Team Naughton (Eric & Christine Naughton, Ian Ralph & Anne Richardson) did win round 6 big and rose to 4th place.  Well done to all – especially to Mike Kinsey who both directed and played – a difficult task indeed.  Full results on lymingtonbridgeclub.co.uk.  Also a big thank you to Lymington Club for laying on an excellent lunch and tea. The Philip Graham was also the final event in the 2024-2025 Victor Ludorum competition.  After 5 of the 6 events Tony Truluck & Stuart Burnett had a slender lead but, since they did not enter the Philip Graham, they slipped to equal fourth in the final standings (on 469 points). James Clark rose to third (on 509) with the defending champion Steve Preston 2nd (on 545) and finally Congratulations to Mike Kinsey.
